The Sauble Beach XC Ski Club offers some of the
best classic cross country ski trails in Ontario,
as well as a variety of snowshoe trails.
We have about 18 km of groomed ski trails and 14 km of snowshoe trails
starting from the chalet and running through forest areas east of the Rankin
River. Both systems offer loops of various lengths and
difficulties. (See Trail
Our Chalet is open on weekends throughout the ski season, where club volunteers offer
free hot cider when you finish skiing. The Chalet is open daily during the Christmas
Holidays and the March Break, weather permitting.

River Trail packed but not track set,
and may have some wet spots.
With warmer temperatures forecast for the

We will not be grooming again until after the thaw.
All trails open, but you may find
some wet areas on the
Dam Trail and Lister's Loop
just past Deer Circle.
We suggest you take Long Loop to Lister's,
then on to the Ridge Loop. You can
follow the "return" route to get to the gazebo at the dam.
